We have several engaging educational programs planned to augment our performance season in 2007-2008:

• On-site Pre-Performance Masterclass/Demonstrations will be offered by LBCS artist/performers in public schools in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
• The Young Performer/Composer Initiative will culminate in an Open Forum and Public Performance in February 2008 at the University of Maryland School of Music (UMD). Student quartets will be guided by members of the Left Bank Quartet and UMD faculty in the study and performance of works written by composition students from the local region.
• All students 18-and-under may attend our concerts free of charge.
